Surreywood will be hosting its annual Eggstravaganza Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at 2pm. The hunt will be at the Surreywood playground and is open to all residents. We need your help! Please consider donating Easter candy for the egg hunt. You can drop donations off at 2257 Lake Surrey Drive by March 23, no chocolate as it tends to melt. Haley Glynn will be hosting an egg stuffing party at her home on March 24, at 7pm. If you are interested in helping please email her at email@example.com. This year, 5 houses will be “Egged”. The houses chosen will have a note on the front door and a dozen eggs hidden in their yards the morning of the egg hunt. Please let us know if you’d like to nominate a special family or would like to opt out of the Egging.

If you are concerned of your house being too far back in the neighborhood away from traffic, back again this year we are offering 7 more spaces for people to set up on the Dell Drive Median! You could have about a 20x20ft space in the median of the main entrance of Surreywood. Cost is still only $7 per household per space. Tables are available for an extra fee of $5 per table. Please email at email@example.com now to reserve a space on the Dell Drive Median before they are all taken, and let us know how many tables you will need.
Due to the weather forecast on Christmas Eve of rain and wind, please set out Luminaries on Thursday, December 25th at Dark. This was an executive decision made by SCA President Ben Coaker (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Kelly Wince (email@example.com). Please let your neighbors know of this day/time so that everyone sets out Luminaries at the same time.
Please take your Luminary bags and fill them with sand available at the Surreywood pool parking lot, place a candle in them, set them on your street spaced around 6ft apart, and light them at dark on December 25th. If you have not received Luminaries yet please contact your designated street captain or Kelly Wince at 804-986-5850.
From all of us on the Surreywood Civic Association, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
